• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to inform individualized therapeutic strategies tailored to their unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, families, and couples, employing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation to comply with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring that client confidentiality is upheld.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients and promote their overall mental health and wellness.
• Stay informed on the latest research in mental health and attend ongoing training and professional development workshops, enhancing your skills and knowledge base.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Brightside Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating safe spaces for clients to discuss their experiences and work towards their mental health goals.

• Minimum education requirement of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential to provide clients with the best possible care and support.

• Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or treatment for substance use disorders is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling practices is beneficial in adapting to our remote work model.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
