As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that all vehicles scheduled for transport are accurately validated and ready for pickup. You'll communicate with pickup locations and consignors, verify essential details, and maintain the integrity of our data systems. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in logistics and inventory operations.

Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Key responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Validation: Contact pickup locations to confirm vehicle availability, condition, and accessibility; verify operability, blocking, or oversize issues.
  • Data Entry & Quality: Accurately record all findings and maintain complete, up-to-date records in the system.
  • Consignor Communication: Keep consignors informed with timely updates and clear explanations of next steps.
  • Issue Escalation: Identify potential problems (e.g., vehicle not ready, missing keys, incorrect location) and escalate promptly for resolution.
  • Process Adherence: Follow established procedures and ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including Carrier Operations, to ensure seamless vehicle pickup and transport preparation.

Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • 1+ year of experience in logistics, dispatch, inventory, or customer service (or equivalent transferable skills).
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone/email etiquette.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and entering accurate data under time constraints.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems and procedures.

Starting Salary range for this position is 36,000-37,000 per year
