Come build your career.

It takes great people to achieve greatness. People with a sense of purpose and integrity. People with a relentless pursuit of excellence. People who care about making things better For Those Who Make The World™. Sound like you? Join our top-notch team of approximately 43,500 diverse and high-performing professionals globally who are making their mark on some of the world’s most beloved brands, including DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY®, CUB CADET®, and HUSTLER®.

The Job:

We are looking for a Sr Sales Operations Manager to help our C&I sales organization win and execute large, complex projects, with a high focus on hyperscale and colocation data centers and other “mega jobsite” environments. In this role, you will build the operating cadence, process, and CRM discipline that helps sales teams navigate how work actually gets done across the ecosystem.  You will report to the Director of Sales Operations (C&I Division) and work across sales leadership, key account teams, channel, marketing, commercial operations, finance, and other partners to create repeatable ways of working that improve visibility, speed, and execution quality.

You’ll get to:

  • Optimize the sales operating model for mega jobsites/data centers - standard stages, “what good looks like,” and the weekly/monthly rhythms that keep opportunities moving.
  • Improve pipeline and forecast accuracy by driving consistent opportunity management, stage definitions, and inspection routines.
  • Make Salesforce work better for the team by improving data quality, required fields, workflows, and dashboards that match long-cycle project selling.
  • Connect the dots across the ecosystem so sales teams can execute smoothly across owner-direct engagement, contractor-led projects, and distributor fulfillment.
  • Create practical tools and playbooks (pursuit plans, stakeholder maps, deal checklists, handoff templates) that reduce friction and increase seller productivity.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to remove bottlenecks in pricing, approvals, terms, and execution handoffs.
  • Turn lessons learned into best practices through win/loss reviews and project retrospectives, then convert them into process improvements and enablement.
  • Partner with adjacent team members to absorb and coordinate operational responsibilities as business needs evolve, ensuring continuity during periods of team load balancing.
  • Provide backup support for critical sales operations processes, reporting, and operating cadence management across the broader team as needed.
  • Lead or support special projects that improve commercial execution, operating efficiency, and cross-functional alignment.

The Person:

You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You’re not intimidated by innovation. Wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? In fact, you embrace it. You also have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales / Sales Operations (or similar) supporting a B2B sales organization.
  • Proven experience building and running operating rhythms, pipeline governance, and forecasting for complex, long-cycle opportunities.
  • Strong Salesforce/CRM capability (opportunity management, reporting/dashboards, data governance, process improvement).
  • Comfort working across multiple selling motions: owner, contractor/EPC/GC, and distribution/channel.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills—able to turn messy inputs into clear actions, dashboards, and decisions.
  • Ability to influence and drive adoption without direct authority (you can lead through structure, clarity, and partnership).
  • Experience in data centers, construction, industrial/infrastructure, or other project-based selling environments.

The Details:

You’ll receive a competitive salary and a great benefits plan, including:

  • Medical, dental, life, vision, disability, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement in addition to programs & benefits in support of your well-being.
  • Discounts on Stanley Black & Decker tools and other partner programs.
