Job description

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people's lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join our "New Revenue Team," part of our product-led growth organization. As a member of the New Revenue Team, you will collaborate closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and marketers to rapidly prototype, develop, test, and launch brand-new business concepts.

This role goes beyond optimization-it's about creating entirely new growth levers, customer experiences, and offerings that push the boundaries of what Docusign can do. You will be responsible for taking software from ideation to deployment, often venturing into uncharted territory, developing brand-new solutions and iterating based on real-world learnings. You'll thrive by thinking outside the box, understanding the business case for your projects, and setting the pace and breadth for engineers across the company.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering.

  • Create secure, efficient backend services in Typescript/Javascript, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages

  • Write and maintain unit and functional tests for every feature

  • Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments

  • Work cooperatively with product management and design to create features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency and robustness

  • Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency

  • Stay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team

  • Participate in Agile environments using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control systems (Git)
