Job description

Client located in Denver, Colorado (DTC area) is seeking a Software Engineering Manager. This role is primarily remote however candidates must reside in Colorado for occasional meetings/team outings. Overview: This person will manage an eight person Java / Angular development team responsible for design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise level applications utilized by both internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have management experience with a strong Java development background. This is a management position, so this person will not be coding but will be expected to review code, make design decisions, and help solve development / coding challenges. Required Experience managing a software development team.

Background as a Java developer / architect. Modern frontend development experience (preferably modern Angular). Excellent communication skills and a willingness to attend networking events.
