Job description

Overview

Help shape how AI understands and speaks Canadian French.

We're launching a short-term project that needs Canadian French speakers based in Canada to review, rewrite, and create French text that trains AI language models. You'll work from home on a flexible schedule.

What you'll do

  • Read AI-generated French responses and rate them for accuracy, grammar, and cultural fit
  • Rewrite weak responses into clear, natural Canadian French
  • Compare two AI answers side-by-side, pick the better one, and explain why
  • Write your own French prompts and example responses to expand our training data
  • Flag answers that miss Canadian French cultural context or local references

Who we're looking for

  • Fluent in French, with strong written grammar and a good ear for tone
  • Understanding of English – If you can read this posting without translation, your English is strong enough! Project guidelines, task interfaces, and team communication are all in English.
  • Based in Canada
  • A background in teaching, writing, editing, or translation is a plus, not a requirement
  • Ready for structured, repetitive review work and meeting daily quality targets

Project details

  • Start date: Immediate
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Hours: ~20 hours per week, flexible schedule
  • Job type: Freelance contract
  • Location: Remote, Canada
  • Rate: $40/USD

Note: Please do not use VPNs or IP-masking tools during the recruitment process — our security system requires accurate regional verification.
