Qualifications
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems.
  • Expert hands-on expertise in Python for backend development, automation, and data processing.
  • Skilled in API development, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
  • Deep understanding of system performance tuning, security protocols, and regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, data privacy).
  • Experience with data pipeline design, analytics integration, and geolocation-based access controls.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineers and making strategic architectural decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across product, finance, compliance, and support functions.
  • Hands-on experience with incident management, monitoring systems, and root cause analysis.
Requirements
  • Ownership mindset - You take full responsibility for your systems and decisions, proactively identifying problems before they escalate.
  • Clear communicator - You can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders across product, compliance, and business teams.
  • Resilience under pressure - You stay calm and focused during incidents, leading your team through ambiguity without losing sight of priorities.
  • Team multiplier - You genuinely invest in the growth of the engineers around you, making the whole team stronger over time.
  • Adaptability - You thrive in fast-moving environments where requirements change and you embrace new challenges as opportunities.
