Full Time | Horry County, SC
Location: Based out of Loris, SC
$15,000 Sign-On Bonus Available with a 2-Year Commitment
Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives? McLeod Home Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care throughout Horry County. This role offers the autonomy to manage your own patient caseload while working as part of a supportive interdisciplinary team committed to excellence in home healthcare.
What You'll Do
As a Home Health RN, you will:
  • Coordinate and manage care for an assigned patient caseload.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and healthcare team members to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Must be highly adaptable and have the ability to exercise a high degree of initiative and judgement in carrying out work assignments.
  • Contributes to the overall performance of the department through professional development strategies, including, but not limited to: competency training, clinical preceptor, in service coordination, serving as a mentor in area of clinical expertise. Must have strong physical assessment skills and clinical skills.
  • Supervise and direct Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with agency, state, and federal regulations.
  • Promote patient safety, education, and independence while delivering compassionate care.
  • Must use own car when company transportation is not available for travel to remote sites, often in rural, isolated areas. Must be able to handle potential problems related to safety issues for staff and patients in all settings.

Qualifications Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Home Health experience highly desirable

Licensure & Certifications
  • Current South Carolina RN License
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

Additional Requirements
  • Valid South Carolina driver's license
  • Current automobile insurance as required by law
  • Must be at least 21 years old to meet fleet vehicle insurance requirements
  • Must meet McLeod Health driving eligibility requirements
