Litehouse is seeking a Corporate QA Specialist to join our team!
100% Remote Opportunity

The Corporate QA Specialist supports the execution and maintenance of corporate food safety and quality systems. This role focuses on data management, document control, specification maintenance, and cross-functional support to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.


What you will do

  • Partner with customers, regulatory agencies, audit firms, and cross-functional teams to support operational and quality initiatives.

  • Create, maintain, and review ingredient specifications and risk assessment documentation for ingredients and packaging.

  • Monitor logs, databases, and quality data to identify trends, track concerns, and support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Support compliance with food safety programs, third-party audits, and GFSI/SQF standards through accurate documentation and recordkeeping.

  • Manage initial responses and tracking for internal and external quality inquiries, complaints, and requests.

  • Investigate quality concerns and support corrective actions to improve processes and product quality.

  • Coordinate with Purchasing, QA, Regulatory, R&D, and Customer Service teams to maintain customer-required documentation.

  • Review and verify product labels, nutrition facts, ingredient statements, and certification logo usage for accuracy and compliance.

  • Track document revisions, change controls, and supporting records while maintaining quality and manufacturing documentation.


What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related.

  • HACCP and/or PCQI preferred OR required within 12-18 months of hire.

  • 1-3 years in quality assurance/food safety, food manufacturing, supplier documentation, or related experience.

  • Working knowledge of food safety and quality fundamentals (HACCP, GMPs, allergens) and basic understanding of SQF/FSMA concepts.

  • Previous experience in managing ERPs and other data storage software (e.g. TraceGains), as well as Document control databases including upkeep of formatting company SOPs (preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail, technical writing capability, and document control discipline.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort working in databases/SharePoint systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and escalate risks/issues appropriately.

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
