The position is entirely remote, providing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients through secure telehealth platforms. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients with eating disorders, integrating clinical interviews, standardized assessment tools, and collaboration with other healthcare providers.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based therapies.
• Provide therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to guide clients through their recovery process.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing clients' distorted beliefs related to body image, food, and self-worth.
• Assist clients in building healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills to manage disordered eating behaviors effectively.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, ensuring comprehensive care and a unified approach to each client's needs.
• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families to foster a deeper understanding of eating disorders and support effective recovery strategies.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans, client progress, and therapy sessions in accordance with ethical and legal requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in case conferences and team meetings to enhance your clinical skills.

Your primary focus will be on adolescents and adults dealing with a spectrum of eating disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with clients who may also face co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Your role will be vital in guiding these individuals toward healthier relationships with food and enhanced self-esteem, ultimately contributing to their overall mental health sustainability.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
• Expertise in evidence-based therapy techniques specific to eating disorders, notably CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• A comprehensive understanding of the complexities surrounding eating disorders and their co-occurring conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that promote trust and rapport with clients.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with eating disorders.
• Experience in providing remote therapy through telehealth platforms is advantageous.
• A track record of successful client outcomes in the realm of mental health counseling.
