Job description

Layn USA is seeking an experienced and results-driven Nutraceutical Ingredient Sales Manager to lead business development across the Latin American (LATAM) market. This individual will identify new business opportunities, strengthen strategic customer relationships, and grow sales of Layn's botanical extract portfolio to dietary supplement manufacturers, contract manufacturers, distributors, and brand owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the LATAM nutraceutical market.
  • Identify and secure new business while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Promote Layn's portfolio of botanical extracts and functional ingredients.
  • Work closely with distributors and direct customers throughout Latin America.
  • Deliver technical and commercial presentations to R&D, procurement, and executive teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, technical service, and product development teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging ingredient opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, customer reports, and territory plans.
  • Represent Layn USA at industry trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Travel throughout Latin America as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B ingredient sales experience within the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, functional food, or botanical ingredient industry.
  • Proven success selling ingredient solutions into Latin American markets.
  • Strong understanding of botanical extracts, functional ingredients, and dietary supplement applications.
  • Established network within the LATAM nutraceutical industry preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally (up to 50%).
