• Provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients experiencing significant mental health disorders, focusing especially on those involved within school settings.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop integrated care plans tailored to meet the needs of each client, ensuring they align with best practices and evidence-based methods.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support and facilitating referrals as required.
• Maintain an organized caseload, including the monitoring of client progress through regular check-ins and meetings, while ensuring timely documentation and data submission.
• Collaborate closely with community resources, schools, and other providers to enhance service delivery and ensure comprehensive care.
• Actively participate in quality improvement committees and initiatives aimed at enhancing agency operations and client services.
• Identify, prevent, and report any safety concerns to create a secure environment for clients and colleagues alike.
• Provide training and education to clients and families on mental health resources and support options available.

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents within school environments who experience major mental illnesses and emotional disorders. You will be responsible for addressing the psychological needs of diverse populations, collaborating with families and educational professionals to create supportive strategies that promote mental well-being and academic success.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) is mandatory, with a valid LCSW license required for counseling and treatment responsibilities.
• Proficient knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis management, with practical experience in these areas preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and compassionately.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to juggle multiple caseloads and administrative responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Previous experience in school settings or with underprivileged populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based interventions is advantageous.
• Experience in creating and implementing integrated care plans that detail necessary interventions and resource linkages.
