As a remote position, this role offers a flexible work environment that promotes a healthy work-life balance. You will interact with clients primarily through telehealth platforms, conducting sessions and assessments from the comfort of your home or any suitable work environment. Our team values productivity and engagement, with regular virtual meetings and consultations fostering a strong sense of community among staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and holistic assessments to ascertain the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their specific needs, goals, and preferences are front and center.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to mitigate mood disorder symptoms.
  • Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders, explore treatment options, and adopt effective self-care strategies.
  • Monitor and track client progress rigorously, making timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care pathways for all clients.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed about best practices in mood disorder treatment.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, striving to de-stigmatize mood disorders and promote mental health needs within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety-related conditions. We value diversity and inclusivity, and we strive to serve individuals from all backgrounds, ensuring that each client feels respected and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically targeted at mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
  • A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to optimize client care.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving successful outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in community health settings, particularly with a focus on mood disorders, will be advantageous. Additional training in advanced therapeutic methodologies or special populations is also welcomed. Experience with telehealth platforms is considered a plus, enhancing our ability to deliver holistic, quality care remotely.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and eligible dependents.
  • A generous retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to aid your financial future.
  • Robust paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay, prioritizing your well-being and work-life balance.
