This role offers the flexibility of remote work while engaging with a dynamic outpatient mental health team. You will leverage state-of-the-art technology to connect with students, teachers, and families, fostering an environment conducive to impactful therapy. As an LCSW, you will be responsible for a variety of clinical initiatives aimed at supporting student mental health. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans that follow established best practices.
• Delivering evidence-based psychotherapy services, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to each student's unique situation.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to professional standards.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers and school administrators, to create a holistic approach to student care.
• Facilitating educational workshops for parents and guardians to promote understanding of mental health issues and available community resources.
• Engaging in ongoing peer consultations and professional development sessions to stay abreast of current mental health research and methodologies.

Your primary focus will be students within the school system who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in not only addressing individual concerns but also in promoting overall school mental health through proactive strategies and interventions.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in a setting focused on psychotherapy.
• A robust understanding of solution-focused interventions and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to connect with diverse populations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, particularly in high-pressure environments.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Although not mandatory, experience working in educational settings or with youth populations will be considered a significant advantage. Familiarity with school systems and resources, as well as a passion for promoting student mental health, will further enhance your candidacy.
