EcoHealth Mental and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team in a full-time remote capacity. As part of a community health clinic, our focus is on providing evidence-based support through a collaborative approach, ensuring every team member plays a vital role in our clients' journeys toward mental wellness.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Engage clients in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Provide individual, group, couple, and family therapy sessions that are empathetic and goal-oriented.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support for our clients, coordinating services with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals.
• Stay abreast of developments in the field of mental health through workshops, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.

Your work will significantly impact individuals and families from diverse backgrounds dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our client base often includes those who may have faced barriers to accessing care, such as financial constraints or lack of support systems. By providing compassionate and competent care, you will be instrumental in helping our clients navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with a variety of client demographics.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and other technological tools essential for remote counseling.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and equity in therapy.

EcoHealth offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
