• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health status, establishing effective and personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Craft tailored therapy strategies that address specific challenges clients face, incorporating evidence-based practices to maximize efficacy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes trust and healing.

• Engage with interdisciplinary team members such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.

• Offer educational resources and support to clients' families, encouraging their involvement in the treatment process and aiding in the recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records, adhering strictly to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

As a mental health counselor at Prosperity Medical Group, you will primarily work with clients undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Our population includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, each seeking services to address complex mental health challenges intertwined with their substance use. Your expertise will play a critical role in guiding them toward recovery, resilience, and well-being.

• Possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating competence in various therapeutic interventions.

• Prior experience working within a detox facility or with individuals facing substance use issues is highly desirable.

• Specialized training in trauma-informed care or dual diagnosis treatment will be considered an asset.

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and record-keeping systems will enhance your ability to fulfill duties.
