This position is primarily remote, promoting a healthy work-life balance. You will utilize our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform for all client interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations. We provide you with a cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) system that simplifies documentation and billing processes, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best—providing excellent care.

• Conduct assessment and treatment sessions that include individual, family, and group counseling in a virtual setting.
• Focus on creating and implementing treatment plans addressing various mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to empower clients toward positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment in our EHR system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic client care.
• Manage your caseload efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical standards in counseling practice.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, including training and certifications, to enhance your skills.
• Adjust your work schedule to accommodate client needs, which may include some evenings and weekends, as required.

You will work with a diverse group of clients, ranging from children to adults, facing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological disorders. As a counselor at Summit Healthcare Group, your role is pivotal in helping clients navigate their struggles and develop resilience through skilled therapeutic interventions.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current, unrestricted LPC license in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling demonstrated with a solid understanding of therapeutic techniques and ethical standards.
• Proficient in operating a laptop/desktop with a reliable internet connection and video conferencing tools.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to client care and service management.
• A satisfactory background check is a prerequisite for hiring.

• Experience in telehealth services is an advantage, ensuring a smooth transition to our digital counseling platform.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is preferred.
• Prior experience in working with community mental health programs or intensive outpatient services is beneficial.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and educational background.
