Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Psychosocial Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to understand the psychosocial factors affecting patients' treatment outcomes, ensuring timely and informed evaluations.
- Clinical Intervention: Provide supportive counseling to patients and their families, facilitate referrals to community resources, and assist families in navigating difficult decisions such as hospice care and advance directives.

Qualifications- A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting, with at least 1 year preferable in a cancer care environment.
- Current California LCSW licensure is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory; Fire Life Safety Training certification is required if not obtained upon hire.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills.
- A strong commitment to enhancing patient care and providing excellent customer service is essential.
- Experience working with patients in substance use detox and recovery settings is highly preferred.
