Inner Fire Wellness Center is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Professional Counseling (LPC), or Clinical Social Work (LCSW). The Inner Fire Wellness Center operates primarily in a remote setting, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from your own space while maintaining a strong connection with our collaborative team. Our outpatient environment is structured to support a diverse patient population, with services available Monday through Saturday. Clinicians are empowered to manage and create their schedules, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

As a Mental Health Counselor, your role will involve a range of responsibilities that contribute to the therapeutic journey of our clients, including:

• Conducting thorough initial psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and adolescents to identify their unique needs and tailor therapeutic interventions accordingly.
• Implementing interdisciplinary care plans that are developed in collaboration with fellow clinicians, using effective communication strategies throughout the treatment process.
• Providing case management services that involve consultation with community professionals and organizations to ensure patients receive comprehensive support.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients achieve their treatment goals and improve their overall emotional health.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment procedures in accordance with departmental policies and ethical guidelines.

Our Mental Health Counselor will work with a rich and varied patient population, including children, adolescents, families, and individuals facing a range of mental health issues. You will be responsible for understanding and addressing the psychosocial challenges that clients encounter, using a multi-faceted approach to guide them through their therapeutic journey. • Must possess a current and valid license as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor or therapist.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.

While the minimum requirement is two years of clinical experience, candidates with experience in outpatient settings, familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, and a track record of working with special populations will be strongly preferred.
