CNO Financial Group is hiring an FP&A OneStream Consultant to serve as the lead subject matter expert for CNO's OneStream platform. This role is responsible for platform administration, data integrity, system stability, and the strategic roadmap for ongoing enhancements. The position partners closely with IT, Accounting, Investments, Actuarial, and business leaders to optimize financial planning and modeling processes, deliver actionable insights from complex data, and maximize the value of the OneStream platform across the Enterprise.

Core responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Configure, develop, and enhance OneStream applications that support finance transformation objectives.
  • Recommend and lead process improvements, enhanced controls, efficiency gains, and technology enabled transformation initiatives within the platform and surrounding financial workflows across the Enterprise.
  • Build and maintain OneStream business rules, data management solutions, and application components to support planning, reporting, and budget execution processes.
  • Translate business requirements into functional system designs, configuration decisions, and technical solutions within the OneStream platform.
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities by identifying issues, validating results, and helping deliver stable application performance.
  • Serving as the primary Lead of the OneStream platform, managing user provisioning, security roles, profiles, and system configurations.
  • Maintaining and monitoring application environments (Development, Test, Production) and managing the full change lifecycle.
  • Managing and troubleshooting data integrations between OneStream and boundary systems (e.g., general ledger trial balances, operational metrics, sales data).
  • Building, maintaining, and optimizing Transformation Rules, cube views, dashboards, workflows, and business rules within OneStream.
  • Training and enabling Power Users and End Users on OneStream functionality, best practices, and job aids.

What you need (Minimum requirements):

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science, or related field.
  • Seven years of hands-on administration experience as an administrator, analyst, or implementation support role; or equivalent experience with OneStream or comparable EPM/CPM platform (e.g., Hyperion HFM, SAP BPC, Oracle EPBCS).
  • Candidate location in Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Eastern time zone business hours.

What will set you apart (Preferred experience):

  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
  • OneStream Administrator Certification such as OneStream Certified Associate (OCA) - Administration.
  • Ten years of hands-on administration experience in an administrator, analyst, or implementation support role; or equivalent experience with OneStream preferred or comparable EPM/CPM platform (e.g., Hyperion HFM, SAP BPC, Oracle EPBCS); working knowledge of SQL, relational database; experience supporting GAAP consolidations, eliminations, and intercompany accounting directly within OneStream; background in Hyperion Essbase or FDMEE; experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry with SOX controls requirements.

Compensation

Pay Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00 Annual
