Healing Reflection Counseling is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team as a Remote Telehealth Specialist. This full-time position allows you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your own home, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship with clients during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

• Delivering virtual counseling services tailored to individuals, couples, and families experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Establishing and nurturing a trusting and empathetic therapeutic alliance to encourage open communication and healing.
• Collaborating with clients to assess their needs and jointly developing personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices.
• Utilizing tools and methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive client outcomes.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay informed of best practices in teletherapy and mental health trends.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of adult clients, including those managing mental health issues and individuals seeking personal development and improved relationships. By offering remote services, you will be able to reach clients from various backgrounds, making therapy more attainable for those who may face geographical, financial, or health-related barriers to receiving care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current and active licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of experience in individual and group therapy, particularly in virtual settings, demonstrating adaptability and mastery of telehealth protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with clients through digital mediums.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms to ensure efficient client management and documentation.

• Experience with population-specific issues, such as substance use disorder, trauma-informed care, or crisis intervention.
• Background in facilitating workshops or group therapy sessions, providing a holistic approach to mental health care.
