Alvita Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients, including pre-crisis intervention strategies and positive behavior support plans.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment processes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Employ evidence-based screening tools to effectively evaluate client progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to devise and execute positive behavior support plans, fostering an environment of mutual support and respect.
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the standards and integrity of Alvita Counseling Center.
  • Serve as a vital liaison to local service systems, state agencies, and community partners to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication networks to fulfill contract obligations and enhance the agency's mission in the local community.
  • Forge relationships with organizations and agencies to promote programs, identify partnerships, and secure funding opportunities.
  • Engage in professional development activities, including workshops and conferences, to remain informed about advancements in the mental health field.
  • Uphold and advocate the agency's core mission and values during all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall success and efficacy of the clinic.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with emotional and psychological challenges, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and support for individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries. Our community-based approach focuses on building rapport and trust, allowing you to deeply understand each client’s unique situation and adjust interventions accordingly.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field is required.
  • Possession of a current and independent LMHC license is essential.
