ARS is seeking a Senior Program Control Manager to provide strategic leadership for division-level business operations, finance, and program control within the Defense and Intelligence Operating Group.

Responsibilities:
  • Use your demonstrated Business Operations, including Finance, Program Control and Business Management expertise, to support and lead the Program Management Office at a division level within the Defense and Intelligence Operating Group
  • Report on and manage Division results with direct interaction with the Division Vice President/General Manager as well as the Operating Group Operations Vice Presidents and President
  • Develop program related financial data and metrics and lead program budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide oversight on financial tracking and the efficiency and effectiveness of financial programs as well as follow up on audit resolution and corrective actions
  • Apply your understanding of the strategic picture and drill down into the analysis of financial data on a monthly basis and for contribution to the long-term strategic plan.
  • Use government accounting background to coordinate and participate in month end closing
  • Experience in managing a remote team in multiple locations
  • Serve as a business partner and adviser to leadership on all program financial matters.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Advanced Excel skill set, proficiency with MS Office
  • Advanced working knowledge of Costpoint, TM1 and Cognos
  • Strong accounting background to include month-end closing
  • Experience in Program Finance & Analysis
  • Working knowledge of rates and service centers
  • Proven experience in analyzing financial data as well as financial reporting and forecasting
  • Experience with pricing contracts and new business bids
  • Experience with developing financial models including EACs and ad-hoc analysis
  • Proven partnering with multiple organizations to include strong background in supporting Program Management and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel as needed for business needs

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or 10 years' with equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8+ years Program Control/Program Financial experience in a federal government contracting environment
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience
