We are currently seeking a Remote Financial Management Analyst, Senior, to support our Patuxent River customer. This position may allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.
Duties:
  • Track various appropriations budget allocations, obligations, and expenditures via Navy-ERP for active and expired funding in support of the customer.
  • Execute funding by generating ZSPS/PR in Navy-ERP and CSPT in support of the customer.
  • Analyze program requirements, status, budget, and schedules.
  • The ideal candidate will perform management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • They will collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information related to customer projects and track program/project status and schedules.
  • They will apply policies and procedures for financial planning.
  • Candidate will be responsible for communicating and working with all organizations to ensure recovery of actual funding has been delivered and committed as planned.
  • The Financial Analyst provides financial and/or accounting support to the Accounting Department, Budget Department, Financial Systems Department or Business Operations Department, and other organizational support elements and other activities.
  • Performs analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of: (1) theory and principles; (2) financial and management organization, operations, and practices; (3) pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions; and (4) related basic economic, accounting, and legal principles.
  • Develops and analyze impacts of budget marks.
  • Assists with development of appropriate documentation regarding financial interest items.
  • Provides support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls which could have significant impact on the organization and its business operations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate funding requirements and status across all organizations to include NAVAIR comptroller office and external customers' organizations.

Required Education:
  • BS or BA with a degree in a business, management, or an engineering management discipline.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:
  • A) An AS or AA degree and seven (7) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree; or
  • B) Nine (9) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Required Experience:
  • At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years' professional experience in cost planning and tracking utilizing various tools (i.e. MS Excel) and automated business systems (ERP, NEPS, etc.).
  • Must have experience processing funding documentation for military programs.
  • Additionally, candidates must possess demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules and demonstrated knowledge of Navy and OSD policy and documentation related to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $110,000 -$125,000.00 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
