Join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst!
This is a fixed hybrid role (Tuesday – Thursday onsite, Monday and Friday remote) out of Maple Plain, MN.  

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing finance leadership to their business partners; driving financial analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision support within the teams. 

What You Will Do:

Revenue & Cost Analysis

  • Partner with managers and leadership within the organization to help them understand revenue, cost drivers, and gross margins and how to plan for future growth.
  • Lead and prepare the analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual results as they compare to past results, current plans, and how they align with future expectations.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to understand the revenue and cost drivers.
  • Develop and deliver key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.
  • Create and manage process to analyze, track, and report on key initiatives.
Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting
  • Partner with business leaders to gain a better understanding of investments needed to support the execution of the business strategy.
  • Collaborate with budget owners to build a consolidated financial plan including headcount and operating expenses and test for reasonableness.
  • Prepare presentations that summarize financial expectations and key assumptions and how they compare to previous expectations.

Financial Analysis

  • Provide financial analysis and information to help partners make better business decisions.
  • Perform financial justifications to support capital expenditures as well as for new project and product proposals including scenario modeling and return on investment analysis.
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to drive cost savings and/or utilize capacity and resources more efficiently.
What it Takes:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience working in a finance or accounting role with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Finance experience in a manufacturing organization preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Data modeling experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/AX preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to work and communicate well within all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to change.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a challenging fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion.
  • Analytical thinking with an ability to conduct data analysis, and resolve complex problems.
