This role is primarily focused on working with clients in a detox center, addressing both their psychological and social needs during this critical stage of recovery.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and social circumstances. Utilize standardized assessment tools and structured interviews to gather relevant historical and functional data.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling tailored to each client's specific needs, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that include measurable goals, intervention strategies, and periodic reviews to ensure progress aligns with client objectives.
• Act as an advocate for your clients, assisting them in accessing vital resources such as healthcare services, social supports, and financial aid that can ease their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting assessments, treatment progress, and significant interactions to comply with ethical and legal standards.

Your primary focus will be individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders and related mental health conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults facing various challenges related to addiction and mental health. Your expertise will help clients build coping strategies and develop resilience during their detoxification process, enabling them to achieve sustained recovery.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized and accredited institution.
• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in providing mental health services, particularly focused on psychotherapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused techniques that empower clients to achieve positive change.
• Experience working within detox or addiction recovery settings is highly desirable.
