Job description

Stellar Solutions, a nationally recognized โ€œGreat Place To Work,โ€ delivers engineering solutions across commercial space and national security missionsโ€”from innovative new entrants to established space systems organizations.

We bring talented, energetic, and immediately productive professionals to meet critical customer needs in systems engineering and integration, mission operations, program management, and strategic planningโ€”helping teams deliver resilient capability to the mission with speed, quality, and focus.

Stellar Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Program Integration Advisor to provide support to Government leadership advancing Tactical Space Sensing capabilities within the Space-Based Sensing and Targeting mission area. This role will help translate operational needs into rapidly delivered capabilities using commercial and Government space sensing, software, analytics, and data solutions. The Integration Advisor will take ownership of complex workstreams and help move high-priority efforts from problem definition through acquisition, integration, validation, and operational use.

Stellar Solutions is looking to fill multiple Program Integration / Acquisition Advisor positions.  The right candidate will serve as a trusted Government advisor at the intersection of program management, systems integration, rapid acquisition, and National Security Space. The role requires the ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems, coordinate diverse technical and acquisition stakeholders, and independently drive complex efforts while preserving Government leadership and decision authority.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Government leadership and independently lead assigned projects and workstreams across technical, acquisition, programmatic, and operational organizations.
  • Translate warfighter and mission needs into actionable capability requirements, acquisition approaches, integration activities, and execution plans.
  • Support rapid acquisition and fielding of commercial and Government software, sensing, data, analytics, and other emerging capabilities through non-traditional DoD processes.
  • Evaluate candidate technologies through vendor engagement, demonstrations, technical assessment, testing, and operational validation to assess mission utility and integration feasibility.
  • Coordinate Government organizations, commercial vendors, technical teams, and operational users to resolve issues and accelerate capability delivery.
  • Mentor developing program-management personnel and help establish effective execution practices across the team.
  • Operate with broad Government intent and limited supervision, taking ownership of difficult problems while preserving Government leadership and decision authority.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience supporting Department of Defense, National Security Space, Intelligence Community, or similar complex commercial technology programs.
  • Experience working with Government acquisition organizations or commercial technology providers to evaluate and deliver capabilities.
  • Significant experience in program management, systems engineering and integration, acquisition support, or mission integration
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex Government or commercial projects or workstreams involving multiple technical, acquisition, and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting technology development, integration, demonstration, testing, validation, fielding, or transition to operations.
  • Technical familiarity with space systems, remote sensing, space-based sensing, mission software, ground systems, data processing, or related capabilities.
  • Proven strong communication skills, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Bachelorโ€™s of Science degree in a technical discipline.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, Space-Based Sensing and Targeting, or related National Security Space organizations.
  • Experience with rapid acquisition, software acquisition, prototyping, commercial acquisition strategies, or other adaptive acquisition approaches.
  • Familiarity with commercial remote sensing or multiple sensing phenomenologies such as EO, IR, RF, SAR, or thermal sensing.
  • Experience integrating commercial technology, software, data, or analytics into Government architectures or operational workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML, Agile software development, automated analytics, data fusion, or software-enabled mission capabilities.
  • PMP, Defense Acquisition University, Systems Engineering, or comparable professional credentials.

Clearance & Additional Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Active TS clearance is required with SCI eligibility.
  • Ability to access U.S.-only data systems and support classified government mission environments is required.
  • Ability to travel to temporary work locations up to 10%, as needed

Location

El Segundo, CA. Other Stellar and customer mission locations may be considered based on program need.

Compensation:

The typical salary range for this position is USD $146,000 - $188,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive total rewards package that includes an annual performance bonus, an employer-funded Profit-Sharing Plan (PSP) contribution based on base compensation, and comprehensive employer-paid medical benefits, PTO pay-out options, along with additional company-sponsored benefits. All of these benefits represent an additional 30-40% to your base compensation for a total compensation package.

Provide Government leadership with actionable recommendations, integration strategies, and decision-ready products that accelerate the evaluation, acquisition, integration, and fielding of mission capabilities. Deliverables may include technology assessments, acquisition and integration plans, trade studies, test results, briefings, and implementation roadmaps that turn complex mission needs into clear paths toward operational capability.
