Job description

You have already taken the first step into financial services. Now you are looking for the right environment to build a broader practice, strengthen your skills, and create more opportunity for yourself and your clients.

Golden Summit Wealth & Insurance Solutions is looking for financial advisors, insurance advisors, financial representatives, and licensed professionals with at least one year of industry experience.

This opportunity may be a strong fit if you have built a foundation in insurance or financial services but feel limited by your current platform, product access, training, compensation, or growth opportunities.

At Golden Summit Wealth, you can continue developing your own practice while gaining access to mentorship, joint work, planning resources, in-house specialists, and a collaborative advisor community.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and manage relationships with individuals, families, professionals, and business owners
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand each client’s goals, priorities, and financial concerns
  • Help clients coordinate insurance, investments, retirement strategies, and broader financial planning needs
  • Build new client relationships through referrals, networking, community involvement, and business development
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and client service
  • Partner with experienced advisors and specialists on more complex planning opportunities
  • Continue developing your knowledge of financial products, planning strategies, and practice management
  • Create and execute a business plan for growing your client base and production
What Golden Summit Wealth Provides
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Mentorship and joint-work opportunities
  • Access to experienced specialists across planning, insurance, investments, marketing, and operations
  • Support for professionals working toward additional securities licenses
  • A team-based environment without giving up the ability to develop your own practice
  • Resources to help you expand from a primarily insurance-based practice into broader financial planning
  • Career growth opportunities, including specialization, strategic teaming, and leadership
Who We’re Looking For

Successful candidates will typically have:

  • At least one year of experience as a financial advisor, insurance advisor, financial representative, producer, banker, or similar professional
  • Experience developing client relationships and discussing financial or insurance needs
  • A history of prospecting, referral development, or business development
  • Strong communication and follow-through
  • A desire to expand beyond transactional product sales
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating with mentors and specialists
  • A coachable, growth-oriented approach
  • The resilience required to build a long-term financial practice
Licensing and Qualifications
  • Active California Life and Health license preferred
  • SIE or existing securities licenses are a plus
  • Unlicensed securities candidates must be willing and eligible to complete the necessary registration requirements
  • Existing client relationships or prior production are helpful but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or comparable professional experience
  • Must be comfortable with a performance-based compensation structure
  • Must be able to work from or regularly attend a Northern California office
