Job description

Financial Services Representative | Leadership & Business Development

Opportunity Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time Path
Location: Remote / Hybrid — U.S. Based
Experience: No financial services experience required
Licensing: Licensing and/or securities registrations required for certain activities

Build More Than a Career. Build a Business.
We are looking for growth-minded, coachable, high-performing individuals who want more than a traditional sales role.
This opportunity is designed for people interested in developing themselves in financial services, entrepreneurship, client education, business development, and leadership.

Through the World Financial Group (WFG) platform, qualified and appropriately licensed/registered individuals may have the opportunity to develop a financial services business while helping individuals and families better understand their financial options.
For individuals interested in expanding their professional capabilities, there may also be opportunities to pursue additional licensing and registrations and, when appropriately registered and affiliated, access additional financial services through Transamerica Financial Advisors (TFA).

This is not a salaried corporate position. It is an independent, performance-based business opportunity for people willing to learn, develop professionally, build relationships, and take ownership of their results.

What You'll Develop
Depending on licensing, registration, appointments, and applicable requirements, activities may include:

  • Educating individuals and families on foundational financial concepts
  • Helping clients identify financial priorities and protection needs
  • Building long-term professional relationships
  • Developing prospecting, communication, presentation, and client-service skills
  • Learning financial services products and strategies available through the appropriate affiliated companies
  • Participating in ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development
  • Building a personal client base
  • Developing business-building and leadership skills
  • Mentoring and developing others as you become qualified to do so
  • Pursuing additional licenses and registrations for expanded financial-services opportunities

We're Looking for High-Performance Mindsets
You do not need to come from the financial industry.

We're more interested in who you are willing to become than what your current résumé says.
Strong candidates tend to be:

  • Ambitious and goal-oriented
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
  • Coachable and willing to learn
  • Comfortable communicating with people
  • Consistent and accountable
  • Interested in financial literacy and personal development
  • Motivated by performance rather than hourly compensation
  • Interested in building something of their own
  • Open to leadership and team development
  • Willing to complete required licensing, training, and compliance requirements

Professionals with backgrounds in sales, education, management, entrepreneurship, athletics, military service, customer service, real estate, healthcare, technology, or other performance-driven environments may transition well into this opportunity.

Licensing & Professional Development
Certain financial-services activities require applicable licenses, registrations, appointments, and approvals.
Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to complete applicable licensing requirements before conducting activities that require a license.

Individuals interested in expanding into additional areas of financial services may have the opportunity to pursue applicable securities registrations and affiliation with Transamerica Financial Advisors (TFA), subject to qualification, sponsorship where applicable, registration, approval, and regulatory requirements.

Existing financial-services licenses or registrations may be valuable but are not required to explore the opportunity.

Compensation
This is an independent contractor opportunity with performance-based compensation, not a salaried or hourly position.
Compensation varies based on factors including licensing and registration status, products and services offered, production, experience, business activity, and other applicable compensation requirements.

There is no guaranteed level of income or business success.

Qualified individuals may also become eligible for additional compensation associated with leadership and business development, subject to applicable company policies, licensing, contractual, and regulatory requirements.

Why People Explore This Opportunity
Flexible part-time or full-time business-building path
Remote and hybrid opportunities
Training and mentorship
Professional licensing and development
Financial education and client-impact focus
Performance-based growth
Leadership development
Opportunity to build a client base
Potential to develop and mentor a team
Pathway to pursue broader financial-services capabilities through appropriate licensing and registration

This May Be a Fit If...
You're not simply looking for another job.
You're looking for an opportunity where your development, discipline, leadership, and performance matter.
You want to learn the financial industry, help families make more informed financial decisions, develop valuable professional skills, and potentially build a business and leadership organization over time.
If you're competitive, coachable, entrepreneurial, and willing to put in the work, we'd like to meet you.

Important Disclosure
This posting describes an independent business opportunity and is not an offer or guarantee of employment, income, securities registration, licensing, promotion, or business success. Financial-services activities are subject to applicable licensing, registration, appointment, supervision, company, and regulatory requirements. Securities and investment advisory activities, where applicable, may only be conducted by appropriately registered individuals through an authorized broker-dealer and/or investment adviser and in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
