Position Overview

Bliss Psychological Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this impactful role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the mental and emotional well-being of students in a school setting. If you are an empathetic professional with a strong commitment to improving the lives of others, we invite you to consider this opportunity to make a profound difference.

About the Organization

Bliss Psychological Solutions is a leading provider of mental health services, dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for clients and professionals alike. Our mission revolves around improving individual and community well-being through comprehensive assessment and treatment solutions. With a team of experienced clinicians, we utilize cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal care and support for our clients.

Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible, remote working arrangement, providing the perfect balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. You will be engaged in a school setting, collaborating with educators, counselors, and families to ensure holistic support for our youth. Our virtual environment promotes innovative solutions, allowing you to deliver services effectively while working with a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing best practices and solution-based interventions.
  • Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices, ensuring treatments are customized to meet each student's unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations and promotes accountability within the organization.
  • Actively collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and school administrators to provide coordinated care and support for students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including case consultations and peer review meetings, aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided.
  • Empower students and their families by providing education regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to facilitate better outcomes.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in mental health practices to continuously integrate new knowledge into your clinical work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Your expertise will be critical in providing not only individual therapy but also contributing to preventive mental health strategies within the school to promote resilience and positive behavior among students.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services, particularly in school or outpatient settings.
  • Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing impactful treatment plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to cultural competence, social justice principles, and ethical practice within mental health care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working directly within educational settings, collaborating with teachers and administrators.
  • Familiarity with school mental health programs and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Continued education in specialized therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • A progressive compensation package with comprehensive benefits that include health, life, dental, and optical insurance.
  • A retirement plan offering financial security for your future.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education reimbursement.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Bliss Psychological Solutions, we believe in fostering an environment that supports professional growth and development. As an LCSW with us, you will have the chance to advance your skills, take on leadership roles, and possibly mentor newer clinicians. You will also have access to a network of professionals committed to continuous learning and improvement within the mental health field.

Why Join Our Team
