Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing best practices and solution-based interventions.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices, ensuring treatments are customized to meet each student's unique needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations and promotes accountability within the organization.
• Actively collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and school administrators to provide coordinated care and support for students.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including case consultations and peer review meetings, aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided.
• Empower students and their families by providing education regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to facilitate better outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in mental health practices to continuously integrate new knowledge into your clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Your expertise will be critical in providing not only individual therapy but also contributing to preventive mental health strategies within the school to promote resilience and positive behavior among students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services, particularly in school or outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing impactful treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to cultural competence, social justice principles, and ethical practice within mental health care.

Preferred Experience
