This role allows you to practice in the flexible remote setting of your choice while servicing a hospice center-focused client base. Our telehealth platform is designed to facilitate secure and confidential sessions, providing you with the tools needed to connect effectively with clients. • Conduct secure and confidential therapy sessions with clients and their families via our designated telehealth platform.
• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and psychosocial needs, crafting personalized treatment plans and intervention strategies tailored to their unique situations.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring that clients maintain safety and well-being during challenging times.
• Assist clients in accessing relevant community resources, social services, and support systems that enhance their overall well-being, contributing to a holistic approach to care.
• Maintain accurate and updated electronic records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans while adhering to all ethical and legal confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate regularly with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to client care, promoting collaboration across various specialties.
• Educate clients on effective coping strategies, communication skills, and self-care practices to empower them to manage their mental health proactively.
• Stay informed about current research and evidence-based practices in clinical social work and teletherapy through continuous professional development and training opportunities.

This role centers around providing care to clients experiencing severe emotional distress and those at the end of life, as we service a hospice center client base. You will provide essential support not only to individuals but also to families navigating the complexities of end-of-life processes. You will help families and clients communicate more openly regarding their mental health issues and concerns as they navigate this critical phase of life.

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas or the state in which you practice is required.
• A master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is essential for this position.
• At least three years of relevant experience in clinical social work or a similar field, specifically in a hospice or end-of-life care setting, is preferred.
• Proficiency with telehealth technology and platforms is essential for conducting effective remote sessions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients in a virtual environment.
• Strong commitment to ethical practices and the confidentiality of client information.
• The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced remote work environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the willingness to accommodate clients across various time zones.

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, candidates with a background in hospice care, bereavement support, or complex case management will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices will enhance your candidacy.

• Annual salary range of USD 80,000–100,000 based on experience and qualifications.
