• Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy services, actively engaging patients and clients in therapeutic sessions, while ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
• Develop individualized, comprehensive treatment plans by assessing clients’ needs and collaborating with them to set measurable goals for their therapeutic journey.
• Advocate fiercely for clients, assisting them in navigating social services and connecting them with essential resources, such as housing support or financial aid, that can alleviate barriers to care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, such as suicidal ideation or severe trauma reactions, employing effective de-escalation techniques.
• Contribute to community mental health awareness initiatives aimed at educating the public and dispelling stigma surrounding mental health challenges.
• Consistently maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of treatment plans and client progress notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations and state and federal guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship, utilizing feedback to enhance both clinical skills and personal growth.

The clients you will serve range from individuals facing anxiety and depression to families dealing with complex emotional issues related to illness and loss. Your role will significantly impact their mental health by using empathy, active listening, and tailored therapeutic approaches to address their unique needs and circumstances.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, ensuring a robust foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Current Maryland License (LCSW-C) with the ability to practice independently, demonstrating your qualification to provide clinical therapy.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, with a strong commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds.
• Proven experience facilitating therapy for individuals, couples, and/or families, showcasing your ability to create connections and foster trust.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively in a remote team environment and establish rapport with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to articulate client assessments and treatment plans clearly.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a social work or therapeutic setting focused on mental health.
• Experience working within the hospice care setting, demonstrating an understanding of the unique emotional and psychological needs of clients in this population.
