Invite a friend Back to job search Job Description: TS Ag Finance is looking to hire a VP of TS Ag Finance. This role is responsible for the relationship management of brokers and originators. They may also manage relationships with direct borrowers if the opportunity presents.

This position manages the secondary market real estate process with customers from start to finish. This role will interact daily with our secondary market investors and our loan servicer. This role is responsible for consulting with originators and brokers to educate and promote various options through a business development approach.

Must maintain a high-level of responsiveness to the brokers/ originators and always have the business development mindset that asks, "How can I help this originator get this loan to the closing table?" Education and/or experience preferred includes: Possess a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college, university, or accredited institution in the field of business, including specific courses in Accounting, finance, and economics. Prefer eight to ten years related banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Location: Hybrid/Remote/Company Geographical Region Salary Range: $85,000- $125,000 Depending upon experience Experience and Skills: Consult with originators and brokers on their current loans and potential loans clients Actively develop and maintain a good working relationship with and between all company staff, clients, and others involved in loan transactions Consultatively promote sale of credit and loan services Remain the primary point of contact between client and bank, throughout the loan process Perform weekly file review of all loans in process, reviewing missing items still needed Comply with all applicable government regulations and cooperate with internal quality control and compliance programs Develop a strategy to assist clients after completion of the transaction, including review of and assistance for additional and future financial needs Prepare statements on delinquent accounts and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action Participate in training programs as required by management Review and analyze client's financial status, goals and needs, and recommend the appropriate loan product Manage the secondary market real estate process with customers from start to finish including some, or all of the following: navigating the different secondary market underwriting channels, spreading financials, credit analysis, entering applications, ordering/tracking due diligence, closing loans, fielding servicing requests, and tracking past dues

Work with various underwriting departments in analyzing the applicant's financial/ credit status along with a collateral evaluation to determine the feasibility of granting loan. Correspond with the originator/ applicant to resolve questions regarding application information. Compile loan packages and facilitate negotiations with originators/applicant according to established standards, such as: fees, loan repayment options, and other credit terms.

Assure timely loan closing and funding. Assist clients with inquiries and information requests, and resolve client issues relating to loan products and services offered. Strive diligently to maintain a quality portfolio with minimal delinquency.

Participate in the collection procedures and processes to assure the timely collection of all delinquent accounts and develop revised loan repayment terms or schedules as necessary. Ability to perform all other duties as assigned. Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public.

Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
