Mile High Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diverse outpatient mental health services tailored to promote individual recovery, including therapy sessions that focus on personal growth and resilience.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including intakes and ongoing evaluations, to create and personalize effective treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address wide-ranging mental health issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment outcomes, and necessary correspondence following federal, state, and center guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage follow-ups for patients who have had hospital admissions, ensuring continuity of care by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in writing necessary reports for courts, schools, or community organizations when required, collaborating with various stakeholders to advocate for the client's needs.
  • Work alongside civic assistance programs to coordinate treatment sessions for patients and ensure they receive the support they require.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and severe mental illnesses. Your experience and skill set will be essential in creating a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a current practitioner license through the State's clinical therapy board as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
  • A minimum of three years of experience providing counseling or mental health services is required.
  • Proficiency in understanding legal guidelines governing psychiatric admissions and treatment planning.
  • Ability to work autonomously while engaging in effective teamwork with other staff members.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, particularly those who are mentally or emotionally challenged, and their families.

  • Demonstrated comfort and ability to treat a spectrum of mental illnesses, from routine conditions to more severe cases.
