  • Support accurate, timely documentation and reporting across the team through the program's secure system.
  • Serve as the escalation point for coverage, scheduling, and participant-need questions, and coordinate reassignments when a better peer match is needed.
  • Help onboard and orient new specialists and support a consistent, participant-centered approach.
  • Coordinate with CLFC program management on staffing coverage, performance, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a peer support specialist, plus certification or formal qualification as a peer support supervisor, or an equivalent recognized supervisory credential (documentation required).

  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading peer specialists or a comparable team; strong organizational and communication skills.

Strongly Preferred: Supervisory experience in a reentry, correctional, or community-based peer support setting; familiarity with quality assurance and coverage planning; bilingual ability.

Engagement details: As an independent contractor, you supply your own reliable internet, private confidential workspace, and video-capable device. The DOJ/BOP contract requires use of the agency-approved secure delivery platform; a brief contract orientation covers federal scope and documentation standards.
