Job description

About Splash
Splash Sports is the leading peer-to-peer sports gaming platform, offering real-money contests across 40+ states. From Survivor and Pick 'Em to QuickPicks, we're building contests for every type of fan.
Backed by top investors including Accomplice, Boston Seed, Dream Ventures, Elysian Park Ventures, Velvet Sea Ventures, and owners across the NFL, NHL, MLB, and Premier League, we're scaling fast. Our mission is simple but ambitious: bring people closer together through the gamification of live sports - and we're just getting started.
Why Splash
  • Work directly with a fast-moving team at a venture-backed sports gaming startup.
  • Be part of building a category-defining brand where your work directly moves acquisition numbers every single day.
  • Access to top creators, influencers, and sports partnerships to fuel your creative pipeline.
  • Own paid social end to end - strategy, creative briefing, execution, and optimization are all yours.
Location
This is a fully remote position for candidates residing within certain states in the U.S.
The Role
If you can defend a CAC number, walk through a ROAS curve, and explain why eCPA moved last week, keep reading. You'll live in the math.
Splash's Marketing team is looking for a Paid Social Manager who owns the channels that drive the majority of our paid user acquisition. That means building campaigns from scratch across Meta, TikTok, Snap, Reddit, AppLovin, and more - briefing creative that converts, running disciplined tests, and knowing when to scale and when to kill.
You have real opinions on Advantage+, broad targeting, and creative testing portfolios. You understand mobile conversion dynamics, MMP attribution quirks, and why the algorithm behaves differently at different spend levels. You move fast and make decisions from data.
This is a hands-on execution role with real ownership. No agency layer. No handholding. You run the accounts.
What You'll Do
Campaign Management
  • Build, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns across Meta (primary), TikTok, Snap, Reddit, AppLovin, and other emerging platforms.
  • Own budget allocation across channels and campaigns - you know when to shift spend and why.
  • Monitor performance daily and make real-time adjustments to bidding, targeting, creative, and budget to hit CAC and volume targets.
  • Manage the full campaign lifecycle from launch to scaling to sunset.

Creative Strategy & Testing
  • Partner with the Video Editor & Graphic Designer to brief creative that is grounded in performance data - you know what hooks work, what formats win by platform, and how to communicate that clearly to a creative team.
  • Run structured creative tests (hook tests, format tests, CTA tests) with clear hypotheses and clean measurement frameworks.
  • Build a creative learning system - every test produces an insight, every insight informs the next brief.
  • Stay current on platform-native formats and trends and bring new creative angles to the team before they're oversaturated.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Own paid social reporting - weekly performance summaries, creative scorecards, and channel-level CAC tracking.
  • Maintain attribution clarity across platforms - you understand the limitations of in-platform data, how MMPs like AppsFlyer fit into the picture, and how to triangulate when signals conflict.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in the data before they become problems or missed wins.
  • Partner with the broader growth team to understand downstream metrics - installs, activations, deposits, LTV - not just top-of-funnel numbers.
What You'll Bring
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on paid social experience, with direct ownership of Meta Ads Manager and at least one other major platform.
  • Proven track record of scaling paid social campaigns efficiently - you have CAC and ROAS numbers you're proud of and can speak to them specifically.
  • Real platform fluency: you understand Meta's algorithm behavior, TikTok creative dynamics, mobile conversion quirks, and MMP attribution edge cases. You have opinions on Advantage+, broad targeting, and how to structure a creative testing portfolio.
  • Strong creative instincts - you can tell a good ad from a bad one, brief a creative team with precision, and understand why certain hooks convert.
  • Comfortable building and reading dashboards - you don't need a data analyst to tell you how your campaigns are performing.
  • High degree of personal agency - you don't wait to be told what to do, you identify a problem, figure it out, and deliver, start to finish.
  • Avid sports fan - you follow the games, understand the culture, and can instinctively recognize what will land with a sports audience.
  • Passion for fantasy sports and real-money contests is a huge plus - you must get why winning $1,000,000 from a $25 entry in a Survivor contest is a massive headline, and you know how to frame a big win.
  • Familiar with AI and an understanding of how to use it to enhance your workflow
Nice to Have
  • Experience in consumer apps, gaming, DFS, or sports media
  • Familiarity with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) like AppsFlyer or Adjust
  • Experience with programmatic or connected TV advertising
  • Background in influencer or creator-driven paid amplification
How We Work
Splash provides the AI environment. You bring the domain expertise, curiosity, and adaptability.
Compensation & Benefits
As a Splash team member, you'll receive a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:
  • A competitive annual salary range of $100,000-135,000. This range may be modified, and final compensation may vary based on experience and skill level
  • Potential to earn equity in the company
  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance
  • 401K/Retirement Plan Options
  • Flexible PTO
  • Annual company retreats & team offsites
  • A work from home stipend
  • Frequent company-wide games with cash prizes
  • An exciting opportunity to be a part of the fast-growing fantasy sports industry, where you'll help drive the growth of a platform used by millions of fans across the country!

Splash is committed to creating an inclusive work environment. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants regardless of gender, gender identity, race, religion, color, nationality, ethnic origin, sexual occupation, marital status, veteran status, age or disability.
