If you're passionate about solving realworld electrical challenges, especially around mediumvoltage equipment, protective relaying, and lowvoltage switchgear, and you bring deep NEC knowledge coupled with SKM Power*Tools expertise, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact on projects that matter.

Best-in-Class Benefits and Culture:

At Minot Enterprises, we value your time, expertise, and growth. Our commitment to your success is reflected in a competitive salary of $140,000 to $145,600 annually, depending on experience, with a potential performance bonus and an extensive benefits package, including:

  • Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Well-being and work-life balance: Paid time off, flexible schedule, and remote work options

As a 100% employee-owned company, we foster a collaborative, creative environment where every voice matters. You'll work on challenging, rewarding projects, have access to professional growth opportunities and continuing education, and contribute directly to our processes, planning, and culture. At Minot, your career and ideas have a meaningful impact every day.

To thrive as the Senior Electrical Engineer, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in power distribution and protection systems.
  • Expertise in medium-voltage distribution, protective relaying, and low-voltage switchgear applications.
  • Proficiency in SKM Power*Tools and thorough knowledge of NEC, IEEE standards, and industry practices.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with flexibility to travel and lead technical discussions with clients and project teams.
  • Experience with the installations of industrial process equipment including experience with interpreting elementary diagrams, is desirable.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Electrical Engineer will include:

  • Lead the design, specification, and analysis of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, MCCs, and protective relays.
  • Perform system studies such as short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, and load flow using SKM Power*Tools.
  • Develop detailed construction documents, one-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and procurement specifications.
  • Review vendor proposals and provide technical oversight during procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA 70E standards while collaborating with project teams for safe and efficient solutions.
