Master of Emotion, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team in Happy Valley, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be a licensed professional (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) capable of providing high-quality mental health services to a diverse population, which includes individuals, couples, families, and children across various age groups.

Work EnvironmentThis position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home. While the role is primarily remote, you will have access to an outpatient office setting as needed for team meetings or other professional obligations. Key Responsibilities- Conduct and facilitate comprehensive mental health assessments, including screening, diagnosing, and developing tailored treatment plans for clients.
- Manage a caseload efficiently while ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care for each client assigned.
- Maintain active communication with clients and their support networks, including parents, childcare providers, and educational professionals, to coordinate services that foster optimal health outcomes.
- Apply principles of Trauma Informed Care (TIC) within your practice to ensure sensitive and empathetic care for trauma-affected individuals.
- Lead psychotherapy groups for children and families, using evidence-based techniques to promote healing through discussion and experiential activities.
- Document all case notes and treatment delivery in an electronic medical record system while adhering to agency policies and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in clinical supervision, continuing education, and professional development initiatives to maintain licensure and enhance treatment approaches.
- Collaborate with community partners and agencies, attending meetings and sharing expertise to improve service delivery.
The mental health therapist will serve a varied client population, including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds. The role requires adaptability in working with individuals facing different mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and relationship problems. Emphasizing a family-centered approach, you will also provide services that support the emotional needs of families and groups.
Qualifications- A valid independent mental health license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) from the state of residence in the United States.
- A master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and strong typing skills for accurate documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professional email communication.
- Experience in managing large caseloads and effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with community resources and services applicable to child, adolescent, and family mental health.
- A demonstrated passion for addressing behavioral health issues and improving the lives of clients.
