In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group counseling sessions that foster trust, understanding, and shared learning among clients, enhancing their ability to connect and communicate effectively.
• Conduct Individual Therapy: Provide personalized therapy sessions designed to assist clients in exploring their mental and emotional landscapes, equipping them with coping strategies tailored to their unique situations.
• Create Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to develop actionable, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their specific mental health needs and aspirations.
• Monitor Progress: Regularly assess client progress and outcomes through a variety of evidence-based assessment tools, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other mental health professionals, contributing to case discussions, consultations on complex cases, and ensuring that our clients receive holistic care.

Your work will primarily focus on young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and identity struggles. Our outpatient center serves those in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) that prioritizes evidence-based and holistic treatment methodologies. You will play a crucial role in helping clients regain their confidence, improve their mental well-being, and enhance their overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid LPC license in the state of Tennessee.
• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse population.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic relationships.

While not mandatory, experience in adolescent and young adult counseling, knowledge of trauma-informed care, and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or experiential therapies) will be highly valued. Additionally, a background in facilitating group therapy sessions will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
