Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Job description

At Bim.com, we connect the people who build with the products they build with. Are you ready to join us as our newest US Sales Development Representative?

As an SDR, you will take the front seat in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospects, and booking meetings that support our Account Executives in the US market. This role will focus on our business, BIMobject, a world-leading global marketplace for the construction industry that connects manufacturers with architects, engineers, and construction professionals. Within the SDR team, we thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment where curiosity, persistence, and experimentation drive success. We enjoy supporting one another, solving challenges, and working towards ambitious goals.

As our new Sales Development Representative, you will…

  • Open doors: Research and identify high-potential accounts in the US construction industry, and build tailored outbound sequences that get responses

  • Start conversations: Engage prospects through calls, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings for our Account Executives

  • Collaborate: Work closely with the sales team to sharpen, target, and optimise prospecting strategies

  • Own your pipeline: Maintain and update lead information in our CRM system (Salesforce)

  • Grow: Stay up to date with SaaS and industry trends relevant to the US construction industry

We believe that you …

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative role or similar

  • Are comfortable with tools like Outreach, ZoomInfo, Nooks dialling system, and Salesforce

  • Are an enthusiastic, relationship-focused communicator with resilience and drive

  • Are not afraid to pick up the phone or explore creative strategies to generate new leads

  • Have a post-secondary education in business, economics, sales, or equivalent.

  • Are fluent in English (native level)

  • Willingness to travel to events and trade shows on behalf of the company approximately 3-6 times per year

Extra awesome (or for you to learn)

  • Knowledge of the building or sustainability industry

  • Previous experience in a SaaS company.

✨ Don’t fit every single box? We know that applying for a job can be intimidating and that experience comes in many forms. If this role looks like a great next step for you, please apply! We’d love to hear your story, even if you don’t meet 100% of the criteria.

What we offer our employees

  • Benefits: For the US team we offer competitive employer covered health insurance including medical, dental and vision. We provide a 401 (k) match and a health savings account. For new employees, we offer 15 days of PTO, this increases with tenure and after 10 years employment a sabbatical. The OTE for this role is between 70 000 - 80 000 USD.

  • The core: A startup mentality within a stable global company, but small enough for everyone to have a voice in shaping our company’s future (140+ employees). We live by our values: Raise it, Do it, Together.

  • Flexibility: This role is fully remote and requires the candidate to be based in the United States. While we’re a distributed team, we value collaboration and connection - whether it's through virtual check-ins or the occasional team meetup. We trust you to create a work environment that suits you best. In addition, we do a yearly meet-up with the US team every year.

  • Growth: We invest in your development and encourage experimentation.

  • Inclusion: A diverse workplace where different perspectives drive innovation.

Why Bim.com? The building industry is a vital part of our society, but it needs to become smarter and greener. That’s where we come in. Connecting the people who build and the products they build with. Enabling Property Owners, Designers, Contractors, Distributors, and Manufacturers to meet the industry’s challenges. Together with us, you will make a difference – both for our customers and the planet.

Ready to join the journey? We can’t wait to meet you!
