Grand Central Wellness & Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. You will be part of a supportive team that works collaboratively to address the diverse needs of our clients, while also engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities that include workshops, training sessions, and peer supervision.

• Work closely with educational staff and parents to support students' mental health needs, ensuring a holistic approach to their well-being.
• Effectively communicate with physicians, educators, and families to report on patient progress, discussing any concerns or observed changes in behavior.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients in distress, ensuring their safety and offering appropriate coping strategies.
• Regularly assess, evaluate, and adjust treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients based on documented progress toward treatment goals.
• Conduct counseling sessions using evidence-based techniques that promote emotional resilience and personal development.

Your primary focus will be on students exhibiting a range of psychological and emotional challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work to create a safe space where students feel valued and supported, fostering positive relationships and encouraging open dialogue.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in a school environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and maintain organization in remote settings.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records, word processing, email platforms, and spreadsheet applications.

Experience working within a school or educational context, familiarity with youth mental health, and knowledge of crisis intervention techniques are highly desirable. Additionally, previous involvement with multi-disciplinary teams and strong advocacy skills for students will be beneficial.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 105,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
