As Executive Assistant to our Chief Information Officer and global head of artificial intelligence , you'll sit at the center of how we deliver technology for the business. You'll orchestrate the executives agenda, turn complex tech inputs into crisp executive content, and keep our leadership teams aligned on what matters most.

You will be expected to have a passion and demonstrated experience using AI tools and capabilities to drive efficiency throughout all work.

What will you be doing?

  • Own the CIO calendar and operating rhythm, staff meetings, quarterly reviews, and leadership offsites.

  • Develop AI agents to streamline recurring tasks and workflow.

  • Translate technology topics (cloud, cybersecurity, data/AI, enterprise apps) into clear, executiveready content and presentations.

  • Coordinate crossfunctional priorities with PMO, Security, Infrastructure, Apps, and Data/AI leads; track actions to closure.

  • Prepare partner/customer/vendor briefings; manage sensitive communications with utmost discretion.

  • Keep our digital workspace in top shape (Teams/SharePoint); maintain dashboards and trackers with accurate data.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years supporting Csuite or senior technology leaders in a fastpaced, global environment.

  • Strong knowledge in AI tools (Chat GPT, Copilot, or other similar)

  • Experience in process Improvement with AI or Cutting-Edge Technology.

  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with Power BI.

  • Strong judgment, anticipation, and stakeholder management, able to simplify the complex and move work forward.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $71,500 to $107,250 USD annually The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. In addition to base pay, we provide competitive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, parental leave, and generous PTO, paid company holidays annually and 8 hours of Volunteer time and a variety of wellness offerings such as EAP.
