Graphic Designer
Graphic Designers help define and maintain a high-quality, consistent visual design across all of Complexy's projects by creating visual assets that inspire curiosity and engage our audience. They work with the Director of Art and Design, Art Directors, and key project stakeholders to understand design goals, gather assets and references, and incorporate feedback to create deliverables that meet project needs. They keep up to date with current design trends and best practices to deliver designs that attract audience attention. As part of the Design Department, they work with the Director of Art and Design to prioritize assignments and ensure deliverables are on-brand. Graphic Designers work across a number of projects, so a keen attention to detail is necessary in order to remain organized and ensure deliverables look consistent.

Candidates must reside in (or be willing to relocate to) one of the following states: (AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, MA, MI, MO, MT, NM, NY, NC, OK, OR, PA, TN, UT, VA, WA)
What you'll do:
  • Work with Art Directors and key project stakeholders to support the branding and design process for Complexly projects, including creating logos, branding assets, video and streaming overlays, and social media assets.
  • Work with the Director of Art and Design and the development team to design merchandise for Complexly projects.
  • Work with the Associate Producers and/or key project stakeholders to gather important assets and references so that deliverables are accurate and clear.
  • Stay up-to-date with visual design trends to maintain a fresh and current visual brand design.
  • Incorporate feedback from Associate Producers, Art Director, and/or other key project stakeholders
  • Properly archive and index created materials
  • Other duties as assigned

We want to hear from you if you have:
  • 3 years of previous graphic design required
    • Experience creating YouTube video thumbnails preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required
    • Experience with Adobe After Effects and Premier preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
