• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, utilizing diagnostic tools and interviews to determine their mental health needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health concerns, adhering to evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to client preferences and needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and community resources to provide integrated care and support for clients facing complex mental health issues.
• Offer crisis intervention strategies to clients in distress, ensuring immediate and compassionate assistance during emergencies.
• Participate in community outreach programs, promoting mental health awareness initiatives and reducing stigma within diverse populations.

Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including individuals from varying ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a therapist at Valor Center, you will have the opportunity to work closely with adolescents, adults, and families navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. • A valid, independent, and active license in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport and effective therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and competence in working with multi-ethnic and diverse clients.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, ensuring precise documentation and adherence to treatment timelines.

While not mandatory, experience with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care is highly valued. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is also beneficial in ensuring seamless service delivery in a virtual environment.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
