Sibley Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position is fully remote, providing flexibility and convenience as you deliver essential mental health services. While collaborating with on-site educational staff and administrators, you will maintain a structured schedule primarily during weekdays, with occasional evening and weekend hours required based on student needs and case management demands. The remote nature of this role allows for an adaptable work-life balance while remaining committed to advancing student success.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments through interviews, observations, and detailed reviews of students’ academic and medical histories.
• Provide ongoing counseling and emotional support to students and their families, addressing pertinent issues related to their mental health and adjustment to school life.
• Work closely with educators, counselors, and administrative staff to design individualized treatment plans that cater to the diverse psychosocial needs of students.
• Facilitate access to community resources, such as support groups, educational programs, and vocational rehabilitation services, to aid students in their personal and academic growth.
• Educate families about available community resources and post-services to ensure ongoing support outside of school hours.
• Engage in proactive discharge planning and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a smooth transition for students back to their home environments or into alternative care settings.

Your primary focus will be on students within the school system who may face a variety of challenges ranging from academic stress and emotional turmoil to trauma and adjustment disorders. By providing targeted interventions, you will play a crucial role in helping these young individuals navigate their experiences, supporting their overall mental health, and enhancing their capacity to learn and thrive in an educational environment.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, particularly regarding emotional, social, and behavioral health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for engaging with students, families, and educational professionals.
• Organizational skills to effectively manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling within a remote setting.

• Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic capacity is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with community resources and programs available for youth mental health services is an advantage.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy and consultation.
