Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological conditions of patients and devise suitable treatment strategies.
  • Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans that are directly tailored to meet the specific needs and diagnoses of each patient.
  • Utilize a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering emotional resilience, personal development, and effective coping mechanisms for patients.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, medical staff, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic care delivery.
  • Manage crisis intervention situations, providing immediate support and guidance during mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, available treatments, and effective community resources.

Qualifications

  • Two years of post-licensure experience preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in mental health counseling.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and the principles of evidence-based treatment, including trauma-informed care.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed mental health assessments, make accurate diagnoses, and create effective treatment plans.
