Homeschool Instructor

You'll design, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons tailored to middle school learners-fostering mastery in mathematical concepts and literacy skills. Whether it's fundamental math or narrative writing, you'll spark curiosity, build confidence, and support academic growth in a one-on-one or small-group environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Design & Lesson Planning
    Create and implement customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning styles.
  • Instruction & Engagement
    Deliver lessons that are interactive and adaptive-integrating games, real-world examples, STEM-related readings, and writing exercises as appropriate.
  • Assessment & Progress Monitoring
    Administer and grade assignments, quizzes, and projects. Track progress regularly, identify areas for improvement, and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Support Diverse Learners
    Modify lessons to meet the needs of students with learning differences, such as ASD, dyslexia, or dysgraphia. Employ strategies that build confidence, strengthen executive functioning, and promote engagement.
  • Feedback & Communication
    Provide timely, constructive feedback to students. Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to share updates and suggest strategies for further support.
