Integration Engineer
The Opportunity:

As a systems engineer on our team, you'll develop and maintain software integrations with advanced hardware systems using low-level programming and embedded engineering skills. Join our team and help turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change.

You Have:
  • Experience with lower-level programming languages such as C, C#, and C++
  • Experience developing and debugging software that interfaces with physical devices such as USB, UART, GATT services, and SDKs for peripheral hardware
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, compiler design and development, and hardware integrations
  • Ability to design, develop, and test interfaces between embedded and peripheral devices, including tactical radios, Bluetooth Low Energy beacons, and RF or sensor hardware
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with the TAK and Sit(x) ecosystem, including ATAK, iTAK, or TAK Server, or other situational awareness platforms
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning development for software and hardware systems
  • Ability to work across the hardware or software boundary to enable reliable device discovery, data exchange, and situational awareness data flows in connected and disconnected environments
  • Amateur Radio License or FAA Remote Pilot Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
