Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Providing care coordination by liaising between clients, their families, and other community resources to enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • Consulting with multidisciplinary teams to devise and implement comprehensive treatment approaches that align with best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • Strong understanding of clinical theories and models, with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to foster rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Competence in documenting clinical notes and treatment summaries, ensuring clarity and compliance with medical records policies.
