Description

Our client is a faith-based, people-centered healthcare organization headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. The organization supports multiple physician practices across the Upstate, including primary care, pediatrics, OB-GYN, and specialty healthcare services. With 18 practice locations, more than 550 team members, and over 90,000 patients served, they are committed to delivering high-quality patient care while fostering a culture of service and compassion

Our client has identified a backlog of 6,408 insurance claims with dates of service ranging from 2024 through April 2026 that require follow-up and resolution. We will deploy a team comprised of 1 Team lead and 5 Reps to work the backlog over a period of 4+weeks. These claims are currently sitting in various billing and reimbursement statuses, including:

Denial-related statuses requiring investigation and recovery

Duration: 4-Week Contract (Potential for Extension)

Location: Remote

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday (EST) 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Denials & AR Follow-Up Specialist

Key Requirements

• Recent hands-on eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience (highest priority)

• 3+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience

• Experience with professional billing, insurance AR follow-up, and denial management

• Experience working denied, underpaid, rejected, and unpaid claims

• Strong knowledge of payer follow-up, appeals, rebills, claim corrections, and account resolution

• Ability to work independently with minimal training and supervision

• Experience using payer portals (Waystar, Navinet, carrier websites preferred)

Project Scope

• Work a backlog of ~6,400 professional claims ( 2024-2026)

• Research and resolve claims across multiple statuses

• Perform payer outreach, appeals, claim corrections, rebills, and documentation in eCW

• Expected productivity of approximately 50+ claims per day

• Identify trends, root causes, and escalation items

Ideal Candidate

• Can quickly navigate eCW with little ramp-up

• Strong professional billing experience

• Experience supporting physician practices and multi-specialty environments

• Comfortable working aged AR and denial cleanup projects
